I've had my current design up for about 1 yr. now and want to change it up. I want to go with something simpler but still visually stimulating, using more photos of cars and wheels and less B.S. graphics.

I need something easy to add/delete new brands etc, anyone got any ideas or know of any templates or can create a template for cheap?

    Current site: http://www.wheelexecutives.com

I noticed this as well but it took 3-4 seconds to load.

Seems like he has the old slice method when it has to load all the images and arrange them in tables.

And since it's an e-commerce site, check out the newly released Magento. Seems like it has a lot of potential. Easy to update, change, skin, etc.

Its not an ecommerce site, there are no transactions.
Best for you to do is to find a similar design and post it up here asking for assistance to get to where you want to be.

Time to upgrade from 56k! =P

The site is fine as is, though you should probably lighten it up a bit. The wheel search wasn't working either.

Also, when you click on a brand of wheels in the wheels page, it takes over my browser and resized it. This is dumb. There is no need for this to be in popups (which is why it is taking over the browser in a tabbed browser setting).

Also, what is the point of the site if you cannot buy anything from the site.

design is good. see if you can optimize it to load quicker. you could do this in fireworks or photoshop. it really doesn't take that long to load so i dont even really see it as a big problem. maybe upgrade your server if thats the bottle neck.

id add the e-commerce functionality and optimize it for SEO. do that, get some traffic from google or yahoo and wait for the money to come in. (if thats your thing) good luck.

unfortunately manufacturers have M.A.P (minimum advertised price) guidelines. If I put pricing on the website it generally is around 10% more than what we can actually sell for and can detour many potential buyers.
