    Meguairs #16.

--no, I am not the seller, nor do I know this person. #16 was discontinued by Meguiars after more than 50 years of production because of the new VOC regulations in California so it is getting harder to get as stock on hand become depleted. Just thought I'd give a heads up on a very inexpensive (especially since one can should be enough to wax about 60 cars) but truly excellent product. Very durable too. :)

Easy. You don't glob on wax, only a very thin layer adheres and the rest is removed when wiping off the excess.

Best way to use #16 is to lightly swirl the foam pad in the can, which semi-liquifies the paste. Apply as thin as possible to a panel or two at a time, then go back and remove. Do not apply a thick layer to the whole car, go in, eat a sandwich then come out an hour later and try to wipe off. You will probably need a belt sander at that point to remove it.

I always apply thin layers...I always say that it is best to apply 2 thin layers than 1 thick layers....but even with very thin layers 60 cars is insane!

everytime i wax my vehicles i will buff the panels to remove the excess wax (hand towel, microfiber) and i will get it nice and smooth and shiny and a day later it is caked with white (hardened wax)....every single time....what am i doing wrong?

What kind of wax? #16, #26, Poorboy's Nattys don't dry white.

Sounds like you are applying it too thick and removing it before it is dry enough so the remaining excess is rehazing.

BTW, this is too much wax:

Foam hand applicators to apply, microfiber to remove. Pep Boys carries the full line of Meguars mf towels, the Supreme Shine are very good for product removal.

You can buy it in the UK.

Meguiars has decided to make their entire product line VOC compliant for US sale.

The Paste version is better than the liquid version. Absolutely rocks on metallic blues and real good on other colors too.
