Read any Paul Dini penned Batman stuff. Some of the more recent stuff includes Gotham City Sirens and Streets of Gotham. Ignore the rest.

not that arc. that one sucked. I'm talking about the arc where you get her backstory.

Playing through Arkham Asylum got me interested in reading Batman again, but since 52 and other things like Bruce Wayne becoming a caveman and a pirate:ugh: came out, I stick to stuff like The Dark Knight Returns and Year One.
I was a much bigger fan of Batman whne he was Mr. Keep files on how to kill the JLA Crazy Batman.

    Batman: Year One
    Batman: The Killing Joke
    Batman: The Long Halloween
    Batman: Dark Victory
    Batman: Hush (avoid Hush returns)

Other than that read the latest Batman and Robin ongoing series.
If you're looking for good solo Batman stuff try Legends of the Dark Knight.
It's an older run, but a lot of it was really good.

Kevin Smith's mini series, Batman: Cacophony, was a pretty good read. I'd suggest his latest run, Batman: The Widening Gyre, but the last issue is taking quite a while to come out, so I haven't read any of it yet.
