Ive got an older (80s model) Remington 700 BDL in 25-06. Has a SUPER slick action and reworked trigger that is crisp and light as hell. I recently aquired a new Ruger varmint 25-06 so I have no need for this. With an upcoming gun show, I am considering trading this in for an AR15. But I dont even know what to ask for this. Its a great gun, just dont need it. What should I ask for this?

and I am thinking RRA for the AR, unless someone gives me a good reason not too

    Where are you located.

No scope if the guns in GOOD shape I would take no less than $400 as an outright sell. I would make them give me 450-500 on a trade

I doubt you could get anymore than $350 or so on an outright sale, and there's no way in hell you could get 450-500 on trade unless the buyer is an idiot, new BDL's are only about $550.

The new BDL are not the same as the old BDL. I would get $400. In a trading situation I would not haggle with the guy.

$1000 AR on the table ( you can get across the show for $900)

I`ll give you $400 and this 25-06 for the AR.

Its worked for me in the past and works really well if its a slow show. It may not work as well with the AR being as popular as they are now.
