Is there only one group subbing this? So far I only seed 6 episodes subbed and there are a total of 14 out there. Which makes another 8 need to be subbed :wtc:

There are NO groups subbing it. OMFG dropped it after the second one, then HG-F stopped after 6. I wish someone would sub the rest :wtc:

I can see why you love it; that is a 240z in your profile picture? I drive a 300zx, kind of like the one in the first episode (Mine is a 2 seater + T-Tops).

Also what are the odds of an Anime being about a Datsun/Nissan Z? On top of that it is a great show!

I just call it an S30, since if I was to follow the naming conventions (240 for the L24 engine, 260 for the L26, etc), then I would be calling it a 300Z, which nobody would understand.

But yah, started life as a '73 240Z, now it has a Rebello 3.0L engine, triple mikuni 44PHH carbs, a fairly agressive cam. Lots 'o fun.

edit: 4 piston calipers up front and a new suspension setup as well.

thanks. Got it all for 5800 bucks :big grin:

oh, and a bucket with a harness :o

It's bugging me though, for some reason now that it is warming up, it likes to run rougher and rougher and then die when I'm idling for awhile. I *think* its the carb feeding cylinders 1 and 2, (backfired through it at one point :mamoru:, and I think blew off a cap on the bottom of a tube....but w/e), so I need to track that down. Once I find a decent video camera, I need to get some vids of it at speed. Sounds fucking amazing above 5000rpm.

Oh, and check out a series called Over Rev!. It's like initial D with the drifting, but it isn't some bullshit 'Oh I know how to drive perfectly' series.

My 300zx would idle rough and die, I eventually gave up and took it to a shop, and they couldn't figure it out. Finally a friend suggested a place and they fixed it in a heart beat. Turned out the fuel lines needed to be replaced :o (I'm still new the whole car mechanic thing).

$5800 for everything is not bad at all! Hopefully you can get that camera soon so we can hear it ;).

My brother told me about Over Rev!, I just never really got into it :hs:

well, since it's a carbureted car, if it was the fuel lines, I would have problems at WOT rather than idle. This is more likely to be an issue with superheated air. Intake right above exhaust pipes + insulated hood = not good I'm thinking.

It seems like a lot of racing shows are slow to sub. Initial D took forever.
