...and not a lot to win, with Igor coming back after 2 years after back to back losses

If he wins, nobody was sure how good of an Igor he was fighting. If he loses, he's probably going to get knocked out if he loses, his career is seriously messed up

of all the times for them to give him in a can..this would be it...after all of the Minowa and Timura fights in the past, this is the one time he needed a can and he doesn't get it

You may think that Wanderlei has a lot to lose and he does but he doesn't care, he doesn't choose his opponents, Pride puts the opponents in front of him and he fights them.

He's a warrior, well all know Igor is a dangerous man standing up and we all know Silva loves to bang.

The man has done a lot for the sport already, I don't think there will be any shame for him to retire now but he probably still has a couple years left in him, I don't want to see him go down the same route Saku is going down :hs:

I agree that he's a warrior but I bet he does care, he's got kids to feed, etc.

He has endorsements and he can coach at Chuteboxe or open up his own gym. Theres plenty of options for him if he retires.

Wandy is a warrior and would fight anyone put in front of him without a second thought. Unfortunately its Igor, and it may just not be his night, again.

I love Igor and Wandy! And one of them's going to get KTFO

On one hand, I'd love to see Igor come back a winner

On the other hand, I don't want to see Wandy get KOed for the 3rd fight in a row

Wow.. Wanderlei is close to achieving 'has been' status, the 'Vitor Syndrome' some call it, he's coming off two very tough losses, and realistically, against somebody like Igor, he faces little to no chance of success, so this is going to be like his 3rd straight loss.

I don't know, the future looks really fuzzy for this former champion, if he loses against Igor which I think he will, I think the next time we see him fight it will be in a smaller org like Strikeforce and maybe Cage Rage. Sad, but realistic.

I'm a pretty big Igor fan, but I honestly don't see him winning this fight unless Silva really is as bad as some are saying.

It's still way too soon to tell.

The first of his consecutive losses was from Cro Cop as a HW, and there's absolutely NO shame in that. I'm not looking too much into his lost to Henderson as well because Dan is no joke. That, and fighting in the US means he probably stopped juicing.
