    offers warranties for games now.

its $3.00..... its stupid to get a warranty on a game disc....

chances are u will beat the game, and never need to get a new disc, if u even need a new disc, the game will be worth nothing in value

Never bought that shit. Now with blu-ray it's pretty much worthless because you actually have to put effort into scratching those discs.

the way i look at it, its only worth getting a warranty on a mp3 player, digital camera, or video camera.

something that will actually have the likeliness of breaking

This type of shit is for the dumb ass average consumer who doesn't know any better. Although those types of consumers generally don't take care of their games very well.

It's the perfect price, too. They probably never have to pay up on it, and if they do their costs are nothing.

My buddy goes "it was only 3 bucks. If it was more I would have called and asked".

I could probably go back and cancel the warranty but for 3 bucks it's not worth my time.

Walmart isn't the only place to do this btw. Target does and I'm pretty sure gamestop offers it on new games too, or at least they used to.

i can see it being worth it if you dont take care of your stuff.

for people that do take care of their stuff, $3 wont break the bank..

i agree that it is perfectly priced.

I heard Best buy is starting a service that whenever you buy a game, for an extra $50 they come to your house and put it in your console disk tray for you. They charge you an extra service fee if they have to take a previous disk otu

When you trade in on that warranty do they open a new box and just give you a disc? or do they trade your whole case and everything for a new one?

If the latter is the case you could use the 3$ insurance for an unwrapped game and then trade it in for full value elsewhere.
