Just saw it. The cg was amazing, and it had a great story. The shit Pixar comes up with for stories is amazing.

i don't mean the young thing as a dig, just wondering cause i just don't see why these cartoons get so much love in here

Dude we all know you hate the movie before even seeing it. We get it. You don't have to be "young" to enjoy a cartoon. Don't hate on a movie just because it's animated. Animation is just a medium.
Get over that Johnny 5 thing please.

I saw it last night and thought it was very good. Pixar strikes gold once again.
    It's getting great reviews EVERYWHERE.

I'm 24 and I love the Pixar/Disney movies... Hell, I saw Robots on opening day with a theater full of 5 year olds and I still liked it.

Just curious, have you seen the Incredibles? If not, I suggest you watch it...it is a prime example of how a "cartoon" movie can be so much more than just a cartoon.

Pixar is smart. They don't make just kids movies...they make movies that appeal to kids, but are also watchable and entertaining for adults as well.

They make films for adults while avoiding things that would alienate the children audience, like profanity and protagonist negativity.

I'm 36 and excited to see this movie. Age has nothing to do with it. Pixar's "cartoons" are better written, better acted, and far more enjoyable than most of the live action shit Hollywood regurgitates.

I saw this movie yesterday, and I must say that I loved it.
    the cute part was
When Eve found the plant and was shut down, Wall-e was watching over when he thought she needed to recharge.
    the funny part was when
that little cleaner robot was fallowing wall-e cleaning up all his tracks.
and the sad parts was when
Wall-e gets smashed and when he looses his memories.
this movie is just amazing. I loved it, and everyone in the theater loved it. At the end of it everyone in the theater clapped, I would have claped to if I was not so into the credits where everything was in pixel form. and before that when the history of the world was being drawn in cave painting form, egyption form, midevil form, and then the awesome painting form.

    ...spoilers much?

I've seen the movie already so it's not really anything new to me, but your "sad part" could piss some people off...

Its the best reviewed movie so far this year from an aggregation of pretty reputable critics. See RottenTomatoes.

So many moments you just felt for Wall-E...I remember I kinda started to tear up when they showed him being the only thing moving around in the whole area...the loneliness was palpable.

The dedication to EVE was so touching.

Good movie, will probably have to go see it again
