Now I figure I'm obviously not eating enough and trying to adjust this during the days, but the last three nights I wake up at about 1:00 AM and am absolutely ravenous.

I find myself in the kitchen and wanting to tear through anything but try and hold myself to some raisins or a spoon of natural peanut butter.

Are there good/better things to snack on at this time of day while I work on tweaking my daily diet?

    :hsd:

    Try some cottage cheese?

What are you eating before you go to bed?

Normally a chicken breast or some kind of fish and broccoli. Eat this around 9 when I get home from basketball and in bed by 11.

I've calculated it at about 1800-2200 calories, varying sometimes obviously. :dunno:

so eating carbs before bed = guaranteed added fat or does it depend on genetics/total cals for the day?

not so much cause whye gets digested quickly. caesin is good cuase it digests slower so it keeps you fuller longer.

I found meat (I love pillers chicken nubblers and jerky), CC or caesin protein work best for me
