    Its been 5 months without a mac(sold my 2.16C2D), using a pc is getting tiresome.

    The apple store has went down a few times with nothing good for MBP crew.

    I don't expect anything hugely dramatic until there's a major step up in available processor tech.

    I am. But I can wait a little longer, I hopefully will be getting a MacBook Pro for graduation.

    I'm buying a new one, then frying the logic board in my powerbook and seeing if they'll upgrade it to a mbp for free. :mamoru:

    good luck with that... You could at least sell it and get some money to put towards the MBP.

    I've got 4 year applecare on it and the logic board is already acting up on its own. :o
