I do easy curl bar then straight for high reps.

Then again I dont have the best biceps so take that for what its worth.

Focusing on biceps is shitty anyways.

I'm finding my body is improving everywhere but my biceps are really lagging. I'm about to do arms tonight so I'll beat the shit out of them and maybe take it a little easy on triceps for a few weeks to let things catch up (cut out one tricep exercise, add one bicep... something like that)

Its shitty but I do it on shoulder/arm day:rofl:

Not like I have a day dedicated solely to biceps or do 3-5 different bicep workouts.

everyone says I have overdeveloped biceps and I absolutely cannot do straight bar on account of a bum wrist.

    :dunno:

I like the way Pavel Tsatsouline says to do curls with a straight bar. I don't have a pic, but he has you use a pretty wide grip... the hands are like outside the shoulders at the top. It's actually very comfortable on the wrists because there's no twisting, unlike if you use a more narrow grip on a straight bar.

lol @ this comment on that page:

That poster probably didn't notice that that set had like a 2 minute TUT. He's probably the same type of guy who squats 4 plates 1/4 of the way down, and then talks shit about people using "only" 225 but who go ass to the grass.

I do both and just kinda switch it up.

I have noticed that the more I focus on straight bar the better peak and vascularity I get.

My right bicep is fucked and has been for years. Chin-ups are hell and any bicep or back work gets it aggrivated and hurting. If I did curls with a strait bar I'd cry.

    What's wrong with it?

It shouldn't be hurting for "years". You should see a doctor.

I'll give the wide grip a try. I did think this guy was a bit of a retard.

I have no idea. I was loading a table saw into a guys truck and it got a bad twinge... Now years later if I do a lot of back or bicep work or flex too hard when I'm drunk it gets aggravated as piss and hurts. I can't do chins they really hurt it. Pullups and rows I'm usualy okay.

Maybe I should go to a doctor, I don't know what else they would tell me besides I need surgery or something.

The key to the straight bar curls is to drink a cup of your own urine first. Then you'll be jacked to the moon and be able to curl two plates with ease!
