  2. Too bad there's not going to be any accountability for the idiots that knowingly and willfully passed a law they knew was illegal.

So a WA CHL is good everywhere except Seattle?

  4. You're not supposed to have them on any city property. The law they passed is in direct contradiction to state law. It's obviously illegal, and will get shot down. It's just a shame that the idiots who wasted time passing it have no accountability.

The new mayor is a former lawyer, a Sierra Club activist, and during the mayoral debates he said that he could uphold the currently illegal law.

When this law was getting debated, I went to City Hall to call Greg Nickels out on being a huge fucking faggot, but he wasn't even present. Instead I joked around like it was open mic night and choked.

Taking stand up classes in December.

This is actually a Good Thing. Those laws will remain on the books until someone decides to be a "test case" and go through the legal system to fight against them. We have a couple cities in Ohio that have passed legislation similar to Seattle that is in contradiction to state law.

Seattle sounds like it'd be a really cool place without all the douches.

It would be! It's a good reason to live outside of Seattle.
