My cousin bought a VW corrado G60. And parked it in front of my house and has left it there

From what I can tell they only came out for one year in 1990. Am I right?

Also the G60's seem to be supercharged 4 bangers.

Any potential? I would like to have a speedy highway car that handles well and could hold its own.

If so, I could probably buy it off of him since he bought it on the spur of the momment and doesnt seem to interested about it now.

90-92 Were the years for the G60..
There are a few 93's out there
    93-94 were the VR6 years..

Its a badass ride and look sweet when they are in good condition.
    Well worth it.

    Any potential? yes...

Spend <$500 on a chip, cam, pulley, FPR, (providing the supercharger is in good shape) and you've got yourself a quick little dub.

I've heard good stories about swapping the supercharger for a turbo charger :dunno:

If your prepared to spend the time and money on testing and tuning a turbo kit, than yes, a turbo is a great way to get more power, but if you're not, then stick with the g-ladder.

Good set up vs good set up you'll see at least 20-30more WHP with a turbo set up than a stage 4+ G60 set up.

check vwturbo.com for g60 -> turbo conversions. btw, the g60 was only aviable 90-91, they started the vr6 in 92 for the raddos.

A C is the sexiest VW so far!
G60's are known for problems. Actually the C's overall are full of problems from day one!. The G-ladder is trash, swap super charger with after market. Don't get me wrong they are a great car and look awesome and can run great but many people have them as project's and not daily drivers due to reliability and finiky engine problems.
