Pretty cool to say the least. You have your choice of a few colors the[ yellow is my fav.]

I think it is also a 1.8t as well and numbered.

other than that, every one else chime in.

It had the usual VAG 1.8T with 180bhp, with a six-speed manual as standard. 18inch BBS alloys, Recaro's, retro golf-ball style gear-knob.

    Info here at supercars.net

And a fair few pictures here germancarfans.com

In my opinion BBS RC's > Aristos when it comes to tastefulness. The aristos just seem too flashy for me.

20AE's also come with a more aggressive body kit and I believe springs to improve the stance as well... (337 springs may be the same though)

Great cars... there always seem to be alot for sale at any given time. Prices i have seen range from 16-23. The black magic pearl is the color to get.

I used to have one :)

Great little car, lots of go for the buck. The interior is probably one of the nicest in the 20k range and the Recaro seats are comfy as hell. Handling of the car was pretty good, still understeered like a mofo, but it was pretty confident and predictable. Rides a bit rough compared to other VW's, but it has a much stiffer suspension. The transmission is much improved over the older O2J's and offers a much better feel. Overall a great car. It won't turn heads or anything, but offers good performance and great overall usability. I miss mine sometimes. I haven't gone surfing since I sold it because a damn surfboard won't fit in the RX8
