Despite my general hate, I'd still put cheap crap on a plinker. Does your weekend toy really need the $600 bomb proof version if you're not wanting to play commando? I'm all for poking fun at arf but I think the idea that only the highest tier products will do is kind of arf like.

so then why would they all scream about how colts are gods gift to men and if you get anything else you wont have parkarizing under the FSB, it wont be F marked, you wont have properly staked gas keys or castle rings, and that your fucking penis will fall off and shrivel up?

 I always figured they were different crowds but I guess I've never paid attention. In fairness I do have an ar that I've tried to build to the highest standards and my next one will be a budget plinker where I'm willing to risk parts breaking.

    Your mother.
if it breaks, you have to buy 3-4 of them before you hit the price of an aimpoint

i'd buy one for guns i want a sight for but don't feel like breaking the bank for

:werd:...when it comes out, I'd probably get one for my storm, maybe a couple other guns...I'd love an aimpoint...but I shoot paper for the most part...sometimes I get some outdoors time where I can shoot ballistic balls & stuff. But I'm never doing anything where I can justify the cost of an aimpoint. the eotech was a stretch for me

My combat controller buddy told me today they use eotech as their number one go-to sight. this is the same guy that got a bronze star for an unnamed operation behind enemy lines fighting an enemy of the US sometime in the past. That's as specific as they got in the award.

    fuck aimpoint.
