    hey guys

for around $6.5 grand i can find a volvo 850 glt.

i do not know much about these cars, so im going to ask you guys for opinions / facts. the only site ive come across is turbobricks, and there really isnt a lot of info over there.

is there anything better i can get for $6.5 grand that wouldnt kill insurance and gas?

    thanks

If your planning on doing any work to it (as in modifications) it might not be bad, I think it was the 97 that had a LT 13G Turbo motor instead of just a n/a fo the glt...Volvo only did it for two years....I forget which...but it sounds right. Try www.volvospeed.com and look up Jesse850GLT, he's had a lot of experence with the GLT's - With only 6.5K to spend on a car, if you want stuff to compare, you might want to look Japanese, nothing much Euro will be that cheap without needing much work -- or much haggling -- or both.
