Im using Media Player Classic v.6.4.8.2. Master volume is set all the way up but even then the sound from the movie sounds like it's halfway. What other info do you need?

This is a shot in the dark, but check the volume on your sound card itself. On my laptop, the sound card was set to a 3/10 even though the system volume was maxed out.

DVD's play painfully low on laptops. I still haven't found a suitable solution. Even with Media Player 10 and it's built-in EQ, you can adjust the EQ on DVD's. I tried using alternate media players like Media Player Classic and a handfull of other freeware media players without any luck.

Everything else is loud as hell, but DVD's are quiet.

The Master is all the way up, but is the wave sound all the way up?
