    Volkswagen* Routan, that is.

What's your opinion of the VW Routan 09 versus the Chrysler Town and Country or other similar SUV/minivans? We're working with VW right now and from what I've seen, the interior is a breath of fresh air from what you usually get in minivans.

    Thoughts?

As long as it has an all-Chrysler drivetrain, I'm cool with it. They can tune it however they want electronically, but I want bulletproof parts.

For the haters, I'd rather have a minivan than an SUV any day -- at least for the 99.99% of my life that I will be driving on paved roads, because SUVs handle like ass on paved roads. And don't give me that crap about car-based SUVs, you know they're just superminivans with less headroom.

:werd: to it really is a rebadged Chrysler/Dodge van. Which is fine, Dodge/Chrysler makes great minivans. It just comes down to which design you like more

VW completely redid the suspension. So it drives like a Volkswagen. The interior is also a good deal nicer than the T&C or the Caravan.

Good for VW-loving moms who didn't have a family car to move up to.

    They did, huh?

I suddenly feel a class-action lawsuit coming on.
