The Magic does sport the following "upgrades:"

More ROM (512 MB, up from 256)
Larger battery (1340mah, up from 1150)
G sensor instead of motion sensor (don't ask me!)
Internal GPS antenna (I believe this is better than aGPS)
    Slightly smaller and lighter

And rumor is that it's "all but official" that it's coming to T-Mo very soon.

Kind of hoping for T-Mobile to provide a UMA android phone. Hopefully the US edition will have it...

Rogers in Canada is getting both the G1 & G2 at the beginning of June... would I be missing out of any huge features by getting the G1? I really like the slide-out keyboard.

I bought a brand new in box G1 for 200$ still in contract with t-mo and used it for about 3 days and switched back to the BB Curve 8320. The battery life was just wayy to crappy, even with the battery app installed still almost went dead with minimal texting/surfing and with WiFi/GPS turned off. It sucked because I was looking forward to using it.

I have my G2/mytouch3g/htc magic whatever you want to call it. Got it yesterday from Vodafone Australia...

...if you have any questions or want pics of anything specific, ask in here.

Will post pics tomorrow if I can. Using it right now to post this.

I think it could use a slightly larger screen, little trackball is a great compliment to the touchscreen for detail navigation. Battery life is a bit average, definitely need to charge every night... I think android 2.0 will be the 'coming out' for this platform, 1.5 still feels a little beta like.
