    Hi,

I recently installed VMware Workstation and and have created a Virtual XP Pro machine on my XP Pro machine. The trouble is that it has the same IP address as my host (real) computer.

Can anyone offer any help on how to create a virtual machine witha seperate IP please.

    Many thanks!:)

In the ethernet setup, choose NAT instead of bridged.

NAT uses the host ip address. Bridged is physically connected to the network giving it a different IP.
