Well, the vixy script uses javascript to randomly select a server (they have 10). Then it opens the conversion code on the server (those .c files, compiled) in a hidden frame and communicates back and forth with the page by printing javascript to the hidden frame as it converts (ie.. parent.update(status, doing_what, perc_complete). As the main frame reads this javascript it updates the conversion bar, eventually reading that the file is done converting and is ready for download.

So, are you talking about this script? Or this script + the conversion software (the .c files)
