I want to customize my desktop, and I've read UXTheme is the way to do it. Can someone explain it to me? And from what site should I download anything from.

I got the other version of the patch and it works now. I found really good Visual Styles over at Deviant Art so I'm gonna choose one from there

Buy WindowBlinds for $20; it's made by StarDock and it doesn't require hacking into Windows. It's got a great base of support from people who use the same company's theme-creator program to make new skins, so there's always a few new skins to play with whenever I go to their website.

Yes, but it announces itself with a logo every time you boot up. I used the free one for a couple of years, and I finally decided to break down and buy the full version because it was clearly something that I liked having.
