Virus? What the heck is this?

    Well everytime i reboot my Macbook i get this file in my trash can. Dunno what the heck it is, but it disapears when i click on it or try to get info on it.

    Anyone have a clue

    I am running a scan with virus barrier x5 right now, not showing anything. Im just worried it could be some sort of trojan or something.

    I wouldn't worry about it. Its nothing. Definitely not a virus.

    Yeah, im not too worried. It was coming from my windows volume, so i just went ahead and deleted it since i had been considering removing windows anyways.

    i would jump into ~/Trash with the console and get some info on it, maybe even open it with a text editor if you can..

    Its nothing, I keep getting a "recovered files" folder in my iMac G5. And thats lasted since 10.4.

    I had that a year or so ago with another file i couldn't delete. The only way I was able to delete it, that I remember, was to find the file, put it in a shared folder, create a new user, log in as new user, find file, delete file, and delete the newly created user.

    Worked fine for me
