hi, recently i found out that my mouse has been acting strangely. The middle button doesnt work anymore.

Has this happen to any1 else before?

ps: i'm using MS Optical and scanned my comp. with Spybot + AVG.

Are you sure it's spyware and not just a hardware problem?

Have you plugged the mouse into another computer to check your theory?

already tried that, the hardware is ok...

once in a while, the middle button clicks by itself and the auto scroll will be activitated.

i'm thinking of formating my comp to remove all the spywares too...

i find it funny when people blame every single computer problem on adware/virus/spyware these days. "ma my speakers wont turn on, we got a virus in here" mother-"i unplugged them earlier" "nnonoononnono maaaa its a virus"

i have an optical mouse from microsoft laying around here, the explorer one. i used to have that problem as well, but it was soon after i bought so i returned it and exchanged it for another one, and it works fine. but now im running the logitech laser mouse, which you should get because it arguabley surpasses any mouse on the market.
