What software would ya'll recommend for scanning harddrives across a network. I have about 100 servers that I need to scan, and I cannot install software on each machine.

wow man, i would install virus software on them all. It's not just a matter of the files that are shared or whatever. To get a real scan you want something looking at your system files, and in memory which you most likely can't do over the network.

Now what you could do is buy some corporate scanning software that will just install a small client on each server, (manageable from a single computer/server). There are plenty out there, and i don't have very many reccomendations, because the ones i've had to deal with SUCK.

Why can't you install software on each machine?

Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition has a server discovery and remote install feature that will make it easy for you.
