I ran AVG and it detected that I have a file infected with the trogan virus. The problem is it couldn't be removed because the whole object is infected. I'm a girl so I'm not that great with this stuff so I was wondering if anyone could please help me out as to how I could remove this virus.

Try rebooting while pressing the F8 key.

Boot in Safe Mode, then run AVG again and report back.

if there are no tools for removal, there should be a walk-though on how to remove it.
