GUN Virginia : SB 1035 was vetoed by our POS Governer

    this would have allowed CHP holders to conceal a handgun in a restaurant - we can't drink while doing so.

    right now it's legal to carry into a restaurant, but you must open carry if they have an ABC-ON license - that is a license to consume/sell alcohol on premises.

    this is all fine and dandy, but some restaurants would rather have you leave your gun in your car while at their establishment - something i won't do.

    good news [sort of] On April 8th the General Assembly meets to override the Governor's vetoes.
