if a person is a virgin and then they have sex (oral or vaginal) . Is there a risk of some sorta of disease?

    Assuming both parties are virgin?

I mean how do people get stds? if they never had sex before.

My guess would be that there is a sticky about this...

But....STDs are not passed only by sex per se. They can be passed by sexual contact, or fluid exchange.

Do some Google work and look this stuff up.

    Another reality apparently
Depends on the STD. Many STD's can be transmitted other ways outside of sex like others have mentioned. Thats why you play it safe and use necessary protection when you are with someone new. If you are in a long term monogamous relationship, both been tested and clean, then you dont have to worry about anything.

If you are going to be sexually active, it is always good to get tested every so often. They have new tests now that are alot less invasive, so its really no thing to get it done. Many local city/state health departments do this for free too.

Never bad to be safe, there is enough shit to worry about in life.

Is there some reason you expect this girl not to be disease free?

That is what I am wondering.

It is good to be cautious about STDs and take the necessary precautions, but don't be so scared of them that you don't enjoy the other person.
Odds are you both are fine, but if it makes you feel better, each of you go get tested and put your mind at ease.
