Ya that is a personal favorite from there as well. I changed one of the pics, for some reason I had one OOF that was flagged rejected. :hsd:

I'm gonna go against the grain a bit and say I'm not that thrilled with 4 and here's why.

Yes, good capture of the flame, but the tight crop really does not give any feel for what is going on. I think it would have been much stronger had you shot the entire car with some background so we could see the car in motion with the flame. More like #5 which I think is a stronger image.

Additionally, the other tight crops are not doing a whole lot for the same reasons. Closed cockpit cars are not generally the best subject for these tight crops as you lose a lot of action. Now an open car where you can see the driver and maybe see him working the wheel, that is different, but these shots are just meh, there really isnt anything exciting going on in the photos.

I think your strongest shot is the last one. Its really hard to catch a car sharp like that when its bouncing and using a slow enough shutter to get the forward motion. I think that is a strong shot and shows a lot of action going on.

You have your panning skills down though.

That section in #7 is probably my favorite part to drive on this track.

    Cool pics, too
