Here are some videos from yesterdays match at the 2008 Washington state IDPA championship match. Thanks again to MG for running the video camera.

I placed 1st in ESP MM, and am the reigning state champion in the ESP MM . I also earned an instant upgrade to SS. Bobby, also took 1st in his division, SSP EX and is the WA State champ in SSP EX division. MG shot well and finished 6th in the CDP division.

It was a very fun match and long day. Enjoy the vids! :)

How far were the knock downs that you missed so many times?
Why do you wear the overshirt it looked t cause you problems?

I`m not doggin just curious on those points. Looked like a ton of fun.

  3. Sweet vids! That second string on stage 1 my hand stuck to my shirt because of that sticky stuff, then I fumbled the mag and dropped it on the ground. :hs:

  4. Those were 35 yards out. The overshirt is a "cover garment" that they make you wear because IDPA is supposed to be more "realistic" and practical.

The targets that were 35 yards out . What was the objective on that scene. Knock as many as you could down with to mags?

Is it one shot per target? It seemed like a lot of double taps going on?

  7. There were 3 steel targets, which just had to be knocked down. There were also 2 paper targets which needed to be shot with at least 4 rounds each. The paper targets were kind of hard to see in the video, but can be seen when he zooms in.

Actually, I only missed once, and that was on the last steel. The stage minimum was 11 shots, and that's what you start off with. That stage you have 3 steel poppers, and 2 paper targets. You had to shoot the Papers 4 times each, and the steel once. If I would have hit the steel on the last shot I would have shot it clean. The other targets you see to the right of the array, were for other competitors. I put the least amount of shots to complete the stage in my squad.
