what do you use for video files? on my pc i used media player classic + k-lite codec pack and divx and i could watch anything.

make sure you get flip4mac. its free (i think), and converts everything from .wmv and .wma into QT and plays flawlessly.

    Flip4Mac for streaming video
VLC or Mplayer for most .avi and .wmv files
    Quicktime for mpg files.

I've ran into the same problem. My PC can play pretty much any file I throw at it (k-lite codec, and some other I can't recall off the top of my head). Kinda sucks that you have to convert the files, them play them through Quicktime. There's gotta be another option. :x:

you don't need to convert any files, you just use a certain program for each type. VLC though seems to play almost any file.
