I have a video where the audio matches up perfectly at the beginning, but by the end it's off by like 5 seconds. Is it possible to stretch or compress the audio track to make it match up?

If so, what do I have to do? I have Adobe Premier preinstalled on my computer, but have never used it.
  2. You don't need a full suite application like Premiere.

Virtual Dub is the de facto standard for what you want to do. The learning curve is a bit steep, but read the FAQ and ask in the community forums if you run into trouble. Bad encoding is the obvious answer as to why it's out of synch.

Here is one such way to resolve the problem using VD.
