This one is a little more advanced stuff so try and incorporate some of these techniques into your game. Very different take on the bottom game.

Download once, don't spread the link, blah blah.

    Enjoy.

PS: WE NEED A MODERATOR WHO CAN STICKY THIS STUFF AND HANDLE OTHER CAGE FORUM BUSINESS.

some techniques that can work decently without the gi on: the rolling and taking top man's back, the arm drag from bottom to taking top man's back (like a switch sort of), and the overhooking of the arm and rolling/sweeping. Working on these 3 at the moment, I want my turtle to be something I can depend on!

hey this is a fucking awesome instructional. I had already been experimenting with turtle position and these are some fucking solid tricks to use from there.

:bowrofl: I wasn't actually doing that but the mental picture is fucking hilarious

on a side note, this vid is gonna make a big impact on my game I think. I forget how I ended up there today rolling, but I think it was either from an attepted guard pass or a guy getting side mount or something but I turtled and ended up going ankle pick -> double leg and getting top position. it was nice.

there something about being a lanky guy I think that lends to turtle techniques. Its also because I like to roll around (front/back/granby) from that position and you can be very mobile and end up in a lot of advantagous positions if you have good rolls.

No worries about that too much, my site has only got 72.841GB out of 1300GB used, for bandwidth, and we're only on day 18/31 :p

    Hooray for excess bandwidth!
