Not sure where to put this, so I'll ask here.

    1. I've had a MiniDV cam for a few years now. I've refused to write over any tapes and plan on keeping all of them. Organizing/cataloging them some how. How do you guys catalog your tapes? I'm thinking about giving them a number and putting a date range and brief description on the label.

    2. I was looking over the settings on my Sony Handycam. I know the built in mic sucks, but it's a palmcorder. I might put an external on it someday. I saw a setting where I could record in 12 bit or 16 bit audio. Will this even make a different with the built in? It's been on 12. Should I switch to 16? I hate experimenting in the middle of a tape. So once this tape is done I'm going to compare.
