just got a new video card and it came with this cord. i know it's for power. it looks like a 4 pin connector but when u look inside it only has 3 pins. am i supposed to plug this into my power supply? do i need to plug them both in(both males)?

can i buy a longer one at fry's because i can have my wires and stuff behind my mobo in the tray so it looks clean.

not sure about having a longer one... from what i know of that is to power the pci-express card... if you are using a 24 pin power supply i dont think you even need that adapter... i would plug both in if you have room for 2... theres no reason not to really
