I am in the process of building a new computer, and i need some help deciding on what video card to get. My plans are to hook up my computer to my tv so i can watch movies from my computer on my tv, and also for gaming. What is a good video card that can do this? Does it need s-video out?

And also for sound, will it be played from my computer speakers, or is there a way to hook it up to my reciever and use my surround sound?

Whats your budget? Newer cards have composite out. You won't be able to read text on your TV with S-video. Maybe you can with composite. For the speakers it depends on your current audio systems. Whats the output on your sound card and whats the inputs for the reciever?
