I dled the demo for battle field 2 a couple months ago, i try to open it, the screen goes to black and then returns to windows, i gave up on it

today i bought CS:Source, and installed it, i click to play it, it loads the CS picture then goes to a black screen with a menu thats ultra pixalated, i can still kinda navagate by sound, ect, but i cant read any text, i can kinda make out a box for the servers, but thats about it, no picture at all realy just alot of messed up pixals

Is this a problem with my Graphix card not being good enough or something else, the computer isnt that old but its not the greatest, 3.2ghz AMD, 1gig ram, Nvidia GeForce4 MX

i know that some cards aren't supported by bf2 (like geforce4 according to one site). i'm not sure if it's the same way with cs:s. check that your card is supported by the games. that's probably the error.
