I just recently got a Radeon 9200 video card. I installed it and got it working and it was working great. It gave me a whole new experience while playing Battlefield.

I rarely turn off my comp but I just did and when it restarted, the monitor wouldn't turn back on. It just stayed a blank screen.

So I put in my old card and it works just fine. Any clue on why the new card just stopped working when I shutdown my comp?

The card was brand new and it was in the agp slot properly. It was working just fine until I restarted the comp. :hs:

but if the computer is booting with another card, can't be the memory, try plugging the m9200 in someone elses computer, if it still dont boot, something is definately wrong with the card.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I just need some time to go turn my friends comp into my guinea pig.

When you have the computer off turn off the power supply switch on the back of the computer, wait 30 seconds, and switch it back on. I had the same problem with a 9800PRO I installed in a computer once.

Thank you Gmac, that did the trick. It's always the simple things that I forget to check first.
