I have a dual 867 with 32mb nvidia graphics card. I just got motion, and my graphics card isn't good enough. Motion only lists a few options for me, and they aren't exactly cheap.

I found an ATI RADEON 9000 PRO for $130 shipped, and I would think 128MB AGP graphics is good enough, considering the price. But it's not on Apple's list of supported cards. Get it anyway? I play games here and there, so the card serves two purposes, and as a student, money is always tight.

Any advice or links to cheap graphics cards is appreciated.

ATI ship video cards for either mac or windows. If its a mac branded card then it should be fine, if it has PC firmware you might be out of luck.

They are nice cards! I have a Radeon 7000 AGP in my Sawtooh G4, its more than fast enough.

As a conclusion, I ended up buying a PC version of the ATI Radeon 9800 pro, for about $200, and flashed the ROM. It works great, motion runs just fine, games are good, and I saved a bunch of money.
