tomorrow I am going to be taking some vids with my sony DV cam that later have to go on a website. The problem is I am not exactly sure how much space there will be allocated to the website, therefor I am trying to keep the file size as small as possible. If I film directly to the memory stick I can either do 320x240 or the 152x... . I just played around with the cam and the 152x... is really unaccaptable. The camera produces mpg files, and 90 sec of film is about 8mb.

What could be some of my options in case later I need to reduce the file size somewhat?

Brain-storming... convert to a different filetype/compression? Is there any software (free) that will let me play with custom resolution resizing?

holler at me video gurus :wavey:
