For some reason my system keeps freezing up on me, I just installed a new ati 9200. Had a geforce4 mx440 before, that is going in my htpc, and this card should be a little better, but it keeps fucking up. Any suggestions? I just put the new ati drivers in, so im a bit confused..

When is it freezing up? Did it start before or after the new drivers?

did you remove the nvidia drivers completely? nvidia and ati drivers dont mix well, hence your problems most likely.

I think I did, and I looked around. Any common places to get rid of drivers that stick around?

I have been testing it out on some games like need for speed underground and ut2004 and sometimes it lets me play but then it goes to my desktop and closes the game for no reason, sometimes it doesnt even let me get into the game, just does that in the options menu, a bit confused.
