installed today, smooth as butta, much easier mag drops than with the factory release. i'm lefty and pressing the release with my middle finger and i had to press pretty hard to get to drop but not now.

also, this thing is a little shorter and much less jabby than the factory release on the g34/35.

    $15 well spent

I loved mine, and thought it was one of the better purchases I made for my Glock. Small part, but it made quite the difference.

i ordered a g34 one along with another order just for the hell of it since it was only 3 bucks... i put it in and took it right back out. it is real long and jabby. i didn't care for it.

1 thing I dont get. How does it require less effort to release magazines? Isnt it still dependent of that spring rod thingy?

For rightys, it may not matter as much but i was having to put more force to press the release than i do now, simply because it's longer so there is further to push without having to jam into the grip.

Yes, I'm a lefty also. I jsut realized, you were comparing the factory standard to the Vickers. I thought you were talkingabout the factory extended version, to the Vickers.

I'm a lefty, and I find that the factory G19 release is perfect for using the middle finger. My wife's G26 is fine, too, but it's not as broken in as my 19's mag release.

i bought the mag release for a g21 and threw it on my g19. then took a nail file and went to town on the edges and made it nice and rnd, sorta.

So I'm wondering why you guys all uprgaded to the extended mag release. The standard one on my Glock seems just fine, I'm not sure I'd want it to stick out anymore. Is there something I'm missing
