Are the squats with 45 sec rests between sets as well? I'm doing 60 sec rests between sets and it's brutal on squats.

not flaming here, just wondering. your db bench presses seem low compared to the rest of your other lifts. 30lbs on your lateral raise seems really heavy, and i would've thought your db bench would be ~120lbs.

i'm sure you're stronger than me, but i've been doing lateral raises at about 15lbs at 8 reps, while doing bench presses at about 75lbs for 8 reps.

THats not a dumbell bench press. Its a seated dumbell shoulder press. Theres also a different in pressing weight and actually getting the muscle in question to contract and squeezing. Weight has its place, but mind muscle connection is far more important. I do 95's on flat dumbell press if I do them first and have gone up to the 100's on incline for a set of 5. I've changed the workouts up to where im doing no less than 6 on anything.

It gets the legs to GROW bro try it! All the bodybuilders around here swear by it and all of them do high rep shit for legs.

I started doing the stickied routine from Purevl 2 weeks ago so I've gone through 2 leg days now. Saturday was leg day and it was a pain in the ass everytime I had to get out of my chair at work today.

My lower back has been fucked for awhile and I've been really focusing on rehabbing it lately. I'm able to squat now, but I have to work to get my strength back up now due to the time off. I did 205X10 for 4 sets with 60 second rests and was dripping with sweat and struggling to catch my breath after. After those 4 sets I did 155X20 a few minutes later. Obviously the weight is light as hell, but it sure as hell doesn't seem like it when using those short of rests.

Do you find it difficult to keep adding weight each workout with shorter rest periods?

yes its gets much harder. You are exerting a lot of force and your HR will skyrocket. Especially with the drop sets.

Even HIT type guys like Dante admit that a high volume of work for the legs seems essential to make them grow. I always try to throw in at least one 20+ rep set for legs.
