Anyone here done one/had it done? Only just noticed them on BMEzine and took my fancy as a less common ear piercing (I have a transverse lobe already) and just wanted the usual run down on healing time/difficulty. Not particularly bothered if it hurts on not, because that is going to vary from person to person.
This is the sort of thing I mean

I'm think I want it done more "front on" rather than on the side of the tragus like this.

I just got mine done about a month ago. I'm not sure if you're looking to get it through the tragus or just as a surface piercing like I did... If you're going for a surface piercing this is probably the most painless piercing I've gotten. It hurt the most to get 'cause they freehanded the needle through the skin but afterwards... It's been nothing. I slept on it the first night, barely any crusties and it only itches occasionally.

    sorry for the shoddy quality

Yeah they freehanded my transverse lobe, so I'm not too stressed about it. I guess the real problem is going to be describing to the piercer what I want, I'm pretty sure I want it to look like that.

Got it done today, a little further away from the actual tragus than I wanted it but still happy with it.

Pretty cool. Was it done with a surface bar?

I saw someone at work the other day with a beautiful little curving pice of jewlrey for a vertical tragus.
Looked really good, the simple curbe kinda matched the ear.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I was just wondering if chellekat could *hopefully* post another picture or 2.... I really really really want to get it done, and I'm scared if I dont have an accurate picture of what I want, I wont get it. I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

i know everybody reports easy heal with the tragus, i have both of my, though not vertical, and though they heal well and clean, anytime they have been hurt (caught on shirt, etc) they hurt worse than most of my other piercings and had a long heal time. so be careful.
