I've been looking for a vertical content slider script.
the only one that seems pleasant enough is this one:
    http://code.google.com/p/missingmethod-projects/wiki/Glider

there are a few sites who are using this affect, here is one of them:
    http://www.fetchapp.com/tour

but it slides it's content from left to right. i'm looking for a script that starts from the bottom up.

i know i can easily created the desired effect in flash but it seems like flash and google are a :nono: unless google has improved their indexing when it comes to flash content.

i've been trying to dissect this script for quite some time now.
but i can't figure out where in the script it tells it's content to scroll from left to right; i suck at teh javascript.

do any of you know of any other customizable scripts where i can modify it to behave accordingly?

any help on how to achieve desired results will greatly be appreciated.

    thanks

http://www.ajaxrain.com is a  collection of open source widgets and toys like this.

pkr's link is the typical type of thing you're gonna find there

AjaxRain is to Ajax what php.resourceindex.com was to PHP. Filled with killer scripts. If you're actually interested in learning Ajax it's worth looking at just to pick apart the code and learn the language.

Web 2.0 languages. If you don't know, outsource to scriddies.

Haha I think he knows. He was just trying to figure out which library nubian wants to go with. jQuery seems to be the best imo. Used scriptaculous for a little while but didn't like it.

You can put whatever you want in the container, doesn't have to be img's, and it will cycle. Scroll direction is simply set as a parameter.

Been working with this one and I've been happy with it, since we already use jquery for several other things on most sites.
