Title says it all. What is your veggie(s) of choice? How do you prepare them? I myself love cucumbers raw and onions that are grilled. Trying to get some ideas to switch some shit out. . .And I should up my veggie intake as well.

No idea how healthy this is (i've just started trying to clean up my diet) but when i make steak i make a nice veggie medley of the following..

    Green Beans
    Red Peppers
    Yellow Squash

Cut them up however you like. Throw some olive oil in a pan to sauté some garlic and shallots then put the medley in. Season with salt and pepper. Add in a mix of rosemary, basil, and ground cumin. Cook till you're done over like mediumish heat.

my wife and I love Okra and Asparagus,
I douse fresh Okra/Asparagus with EVOO and season with whatever I feel like and grill at 450 degrees or so on my grill.

The okra gets grilled for a minute to two, the asparagus about 45 seconds each side till crisp.

Best way to eat it IMHO

Leafy greens, raw. No sauces etc.
    Broccoli, steamed.
    Green beans steamed.
    Peppers, raw.
    Onions, raw.

Before I ate 100% clean, I fried 2-3 slices of chopped bacon, then added steamed brussel sprouts half way through. Fucking , try it, you'll thank me later.

Asparagus and beets are my favourite veggies. Asparagus...just wrap in tinfoil and cook in oven. Beets I have no idea how to prepare and just buy it as beet salad.

I either do this, or eat them steamed as is. I don't feel any other preparation is needed.

    My favourites:
    Snow peas
    Brussel sprouts
    Asparagus
    Raw carrots
    Raw red peppers
