OK, I am using NERO 5.5.9.14 to make VCDs of mpgs I dl and I can only get them to work in ONE DVD player. It's an older (4 years i think) Pioneer 3 disk DV C302D. It will play if I burn as VCD or Super VCD. I have two other DVD players. One is a new Sony the other is a newer cheap ass RCA. Neither one will play them. It errors NO DISC or incompatible disc depending on which one and which format (SuperVCD or VCD)

They are all getting encoded by Nero, I have the Nero MPEG encoder patch for Super VCD.

What the hell?! I want to burn for family members to watch some short clips of stuff but I end up the only one able to enjoy them.

Never mind...But for info this is what the problem was

    http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers
Just type in the model # no manufacturer needed

I put JUST the Model # in for all three. GUESS THE FUCK WHAT?

Mine will play CDR and CRDW...The other two? JUST CDRW. NO CDRs. And I have been using just CDRs...
