For 15 hours work, that's pretty nice, nicer than a lot of corporations' websites. I'd get rid of the checkered background though, a simple white background always looks best.

i know the original post was from january but as long as we are talking about it

the colors in the forum need to contrast better, you need to create your own custom icons, and forum width != to 100% is always a mistake, what you sacrifice in continuity you will pick up in usability. other than that is a nice site and great job.

I currently have a PHPNuke site that I'd like to convert to a VBulletin portal, most likely VBPortal.

Do you have any recommendations on the importing process?

I've been hesitant to obtaining a VBulletin license until I know for sure that I can get my site over.

yeah I was afraid you would ask that...lol

I had the same situation, I had an existing nuke site that I added vbull 3.0.7 to mainly because I didn't like the phpbb port on nuke. As far as importing, you cant obviously import a nuke site into any vb cms. You can however backup and import the critical parts of your mysql db. I used vbadvanced and took the user info and other important stuff and merged it into the new db.

How difficult is it to do?

And why did you choose vbadvanced over vbportal?
