I am reading into VB6 - Just starting out - But one thing that is always nagging me while I read is should I be messing with 6? Is it a waste in learning VB6 with .net and C# out there? Should I just stop and go with one of the later ones?

If I learn VB6 and get good at it - will it make learning .net - C# easier - quicker?

What are yalls thoughts on it?

    Thanks

Yeah....VB6 is kinda backwards. Learning VB.NET and C# would be better...I would lean towards C# as it is more traditional and easier to pick up if you have programmed with other languages.
