    You could use either language to create your applications.

    ASP.NET applications in VB.NET or C#. I would use C# because I am familiar with C++ and Java and not any VB. Since they all run under .NET framework, it's pretty much a matter of preference.

    I love writing VB code, it is so much cleaner than C or java, or anything like that.
    Plus, working visual studio and sql server = teh ownage when it comes to coding the front end of web based server applications. and it is especially nice for the back end also.

    use C#. VB syntax will be obsolete in coming years
